To Reach Munnar From Chennai
Blessed with some splendid green slopes and breathtaking views of myriad tea gardens, Munnar is one of the most popular honeymoon hill destinations in India.
A beautiful part of Kerala, Munnar has been attracting weekenders and nature enthusiasts since a long time now.
And probably this is the reason that it has become a favourite shooting hub for almost all Bollywood directors.
The place can be reached easily by various modes of transport as it is well connected with other parts of the country via air, rail and road.
Cochin International Airport and Ernakulam Junction railway station are the nearest aerodrome and railhead, serving the picturesque Munnar, respectively.
1. Is early December a good time to be in Munnar?
2. Planning to take a train from chennai to coimbatore. How do we reach munnar from coimbatore? do we have buses that leave early morning?
3. Which is a good hotel to stay in munnar? Not looking at something too expensive.. may be around Rs.5000 to Rs.6000 for 2 nights.
Also, is it better to stay in the town itself or somewhere near the outskirts?

5. We'll be taking a train back to chennai, which should be at around 9 or 9.30 in the night. if we leave munnar in the afternoon, can we make it to pollachi top slip and still be in time for the train?
